THE OPPORTUNITY Lead a team of software engineers developing server firmware and embedded software solutions that power AWSs global infrastructure. Your team will drive innovation in data center technology directly impacting millions of AWS customers worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and grow a team of software engineers developing infrastructure solutions Drive development of embedded software and firmware for AWS fleet including :

• BIOS
• BMC (Baseboard Management Controller)
• Storage solutions
• Power and battery systems

Own strategic vision and tactical execution from concept to launch

Partner across AWS to enable rapid development of next-generation devices

Drive technical decisions that impact AWSs bottom line and customer experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $342300 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
