Assistant Teacher – Infant / Toddler Classroom

Pay : $19–$20 per hour

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Andover is seeking a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. Our center provides a warm, engaging environment where young children learn through play, exploration, and nurturing relationships. Key Responsibilities

Support Lead Teachers in creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom.

Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, napping, transitions, and playtime.

Engage infants and toddlers in meaningful early learning activities such as sensory play, music, and language development.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers.

Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing guidelines .

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience working with infants / toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.

CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus (not required).

Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) .

CPR / First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Must meet EEC suitability and licensing requirements for Massachusetts.
