Summary :

The Surgical Technologist role assists the surgeon and Operating Room (OR) RN during surgical procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology OR graduate of an accredited School of LPN Nursing required.
• License / Certifications : Current certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience : If Surgical Technologist, no experience required. If LPN, one year of experience as a LPN with Medical -Surgical nursing experience required.
• Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A
• Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : N / A
