Description : Position Overview
The Equipment Operator safely and efficiently moves freight, stock or other materials throughout the yard to designated areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and transport requested materials to and from various locations by forklift, skid steer or loader in a safe and timely manner
- Complete and maintain necessary paperwork pertinent to the assigned department
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, as required
- Follow dress code and ensure proper PPE is worn at all times
- Make decisions, solve problems, and handle high stress situations calmly and safely
