Position : Daytime Manager / Shift Lead (FOH)
Location : Marina del Rey, CA
Type : Full-Time | Wednesday–Sunday | Day Shifts (with occasional evenings if desired)
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Daytime Manager, you’ll lead the deli counter and register area during service hours and ensure the restaurant is prepped and ready for evening service. You’ll coach the daytime team, support opening duties, keep the space dialed in, and communicate with the evening manager for smooth transitions. There may also be opportunities to pick up serving or evening shift lead roles , depending on your interest and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead fast-casual FOH service for daytime deli counter and café
Greet guests, guide them through the menu, and ensure warm, efficient service
Manage register, light food running, and counter-side wine / cheese sales
Set up the dining room for dinner shift : lighting, music, glassware, and mise
Coordinate with BOH team and evening leads to ensure smooth transitions
Maintain cleanliness, restocking, and daily checklists
Support opening duties
Train and guide new team members during daytime shifts
Assist with inventory, prep tracking, and side work as needed
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
1–2 years FOH experience in fast-casual or café settings
Confident leading small teams and working independently
Comfortable handling register, counter service, and guest engagement
Bonus : Interest or experience in cheese, charcuterie, or wine
Available Wednesday through Sunday during the day
Reliable, calm, and detail-oriented
Great communicator who brings a warm, thoughtful energy to the floor

We’re looking for a Daytime Manager / FOH Shift Lead to help guide the rhythm of our daytime service while setting the stage for a smooth and elevated evening shift. This is a front-of-house leadership role with hands-on guest interaction, systems focus, and real growth opportunity.
