Interim Manager Food and Nutrition Services
HCT seeks an experienced Interim Manager of Food and Nutrition Services at a 240+ bed hospital in Northern California. The Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :
- Supervises and provides operational leadership in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the day to day operational functions
- Manages Food & Nutrition Service, implements training programs for Food & Nutrition Services staff, and assures that established policies and procedures and compliance are maintained that govern the provision of dietetic services
- Provides administrative direction of menu formulation, food preparation and service, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices and personnel utilization
- Ensures patient and customer satisfaction and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient uses of resources
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition preferred or equivalent educationCertifications : RD, Registered Dietitian of California upon hire required; Serve Safe certified upon hire requiredExperience : Minimum of 8 years management, supervisory or team lead experience; minimum of 8 years food service management experience in an acute-care hospital or similar institution requiredComputer Skills : Skills with database, application and Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car.
Base pay range
$150,000.00 / yr - $159,000.00 / yr
