Join Our Team as a Pediatric Radiology Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Physician specialized in Pediatric Radiology to provide exceptional onsite imaging services for children at a leading children's hospital. What You Will Do:
- Provide onsite coverage at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, ensuring high-quality pediatric radiological evaluations.
- Interpret X-ray, Ultrasound, STAT CT, and MRI cases with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a flexible scheduling pattern, including coverage from Monday to Sunday, with options for shifts from Monday-Friday 4 PM-12 AM, and weekend calls from Saturday-Sunday 12 PM-8 PM and 8 PM-8 AM.
- Submit case logs and participate actively in case reviews to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate closely with radiology and pediatric teams to deliver optimal outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Radiology (CAQ preferred).
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology.
- Valid CAQ certification or eligibility.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting pediatric imaging modalities including X-ray, US, CT, and MRI.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in Pediatric Nuclear Medicine.
- Competency in managing on-call duties and emergency imaging.
- Familiarity with the latest pediatric radiology technologies and practices.
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology.
- CAQ certification or eligibility.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in pediatric imaging.
Other Requirements:
- Onsite availability at Children's Hospital of Michigan.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evening shifts.
- Valid medical license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Willingness to submit case logs and participate in quality assurance processes.
- Travel or licensure reimbursements provided as applicable.
