Senior Sales Director – Role Overview
Kasada is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Director with a background in cybersecurity, software engineering, or technical consulting. The ideal candidate can hold their own in technical discussions with senior engineers and has a passion for expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted enterprise accounts, especially large tech companies in the Bay Area, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Engage in deep technical discussions with prospective clients’ senior engineers and security architects on bot detection algorithms, web application security vulnerabilities, and fraud prevention techniques.
Champion customer success by collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and ROI during proof‑of‑concept engagements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with C‑level and VP‑level stakeholders within client organizations, effectively communicating Kasada’s value proposition and aligning solutions with customer needs.
Represent Kasada at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building strategic partnerships and expanding our network within the cybersecurity and enterprise sectors.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging threats, and use market insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Technical acumen in bot detection algorithms, web application security, and fraud prevention; ability to hold deep technical discussions with senior engineers and security architects.
Proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally within web application security or fraud prevention sectors.
Experience in a startup or scale‑up environment, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced organization.
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
Proficiency with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Highly driven, energetic, and outcome‑focused; able to manage relationships and workflows across distributed teams.
Excellent remote work capability and strong communication skills.
Compensation
$150,000 – $200,000 base salary per year (variable compensation, equity, and benefits not included). Salary is determined by a variety of factors including experience, skills, and relevant training.
