Schedule : FridaySunday | 36 hours per week

Overview :

Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manger. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

Required Education :

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Required Licensure :

  • Current RN license or temporary permit in the state of Missouri.
  • Required Experience :

  • Minimum of 23 years of direct patient care experience.
  • Required Certifications :

  • Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Education :

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Licensure :

  • Active RN license in good standing (if not already listed above).
  • Experience :

  • Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a Med / Surg setting is highly desirable.
