Position Overview :

The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a semester lecturer to teach EEOB 2520 : Human Physiology and Biology 1113 lab courses in Spring 2026. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.

Performance Objectives

Teaching : Develop and deliver courses in formats that could include in classroom, online, or hybrid. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required : Master’s degree in EEOB, Biology, or related subject.

Desired : Teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

The mission of the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology is to provide high quality, comprehensive programs in undergraduate and graduate instruction, to generate and disseminate knowledge gained through original research, and to provide service to the University and professional and public sectors. As a department in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department contributes to the mission of the College in the areas of teaching, research and service in evolutionary biology, organismal biology, and ecology. Formal classroom courses and original research focus on a broad spectrum of topics.
