Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details

Location : Saint Marys, OH 45885 (Ohio healthcare jobs)

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry Unit

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)

Shifts : 3x12-hour shifts per week (Day : 07 : 15 – 18 : 45 / Night : 18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Weekly Hours : 36 hours

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1770-$1820

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required

American Heart Association (AHA) certifications; RQI certifications accepted

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

AllScripts charting experience preferred

Two recent references from Med / Surg Telemetry managers, supervisors, or directors

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; respond promptly to changes in patient status

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Offer compassionate support and education to patients and their families

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare standards
