Ophthalmic Medical Scribe Overview : Retina Northwest's Ophthalmic Medical Scribes are responsible for working alongside our physicians utilizing clinical knowledge to enter patient information into an electronic health record (NextGen) and transcribe physician's medical decision-making in real time.

Scribes assist in the care, treatment, and education of ophthalmology patients.

They will cross train as ophthalmic technicians to learn rooming patients, obtaining medical history, prepping for injections, assisting with laser treatments, and performing OCT testing.
