About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established wealth management firm that provides comprehensive financial planning and insurance solutions. They're seeking a Life & Annuity Operations Specialist to join their growing team in Ames, IA. This position is focused on the administrative and operational side of insurance—ensuring efficient processing, accurate tracking, and excellent service throughout the policy lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and track all stages of the insurance process from application to policy delivery.
• Schedule medical exams and coordinate with clients, underwriters, and carriers.
• Prepare and submit applications, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up with underwriters.
• Oversee the underwriting process and maintain consistent communication with all parties.
• Collect outstanding reporting documents and maintain complete, organized records.
• Oversee policy delivery and ensure proper documentation and client satisfaction.
• Create and review insurance illustrations as part of the proposal and presentation process.
• Support the team in administrative and operational workflows as needed.
