JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician II plays a key role in keeping PIP’s Guilderland Center facility running efficiently by performing hands-on maintenance and repair work across production and warehouse equipment. This role independently troubleshoots mechanical issues, performs preventive maintenance, and coordinates with vendors for parts and service needs. The Technician II ensures equipment reliability, maintains accurate service records, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and high-performing operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse, production, and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with powered equipment such as reach trucks and battery charging systems.
• Partner with external vendors for parts replacement and complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate service logs and manage spare parts inventory.
• Monitor battery systems for performance, charging, and safety compliance.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards and participate in safety initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as required to support facility operations.
