ADABAS / DB2 Database Specialist

A company is looking for an ADABAS / DB2 Database Specialist to provide technical support for Software AG's ADABAS product suite in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, install, configure, and implement SAG ADABAS software products and associated tools

Manage and optimize database structures, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and regulatory standards

Monitor, analyze, and tune database performance while providing technical guidance to programming and systems design teams

Qualifications

Recent hands-on experience with ADABAS Cluster Services in IBM z / OS Parallel Sysplex environments

Proficiency with Software AG products, including PREDICT and Natural Security

Experience developing and implementing disaster recovery procedures for ADABAS environments

Solid background in maintaining z / OS operating systems and tuning IBM CICS parameters

Hands-on experience with SAG software migrations and applying released fixes
