Summary :
We are looking for a capable and compassionate Registered Nurse who can work independently and handle both routine and complex post-operative care. You will play a crucial role in patient recovery, utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge to ensure high-quality care for our patients.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate leadership qualities as per OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
- Provide nursing care through the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
- Address complex physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol while monitoring side effects and effectiveness.
- Carefully document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers about their conditions and treatments.
Job Requirements : Education / Skills :
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.Experience :
1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
BLS certification required.RN License in the state of employment or compact.Additional Position Requirements :
All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.Preceptorship will be provided by trained staff members.Completion of annual competency verification is mandatory.Experience :
Experience in a Perioperative setting is preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
Current ACLS certification required.Current PALS or ENPC certification required.We offer a grace period for certification completion based on your experience level to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing professional development.
