We are looking for a full-time, experienced and self-motivated National Pro Sales Manager to join our Sales department Team to develop and execute a national go-to-market strategy focused on the commercial hardware and multifamily segments. This role will build a base business across key product lines and channels, establish and grow revenue streams, and serve as the subject matter expert for commercial hardware specifications and smart access technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy – Build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow our Brinks Commercial Hardware, Universal Hardware, and AccessIQ product lines within the commercial and multifamily verticals.
  • Revenue Growth & Business Development – Establish a foundation of recurring revenue by acquiring and retaining strategic accounts. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across national and regional distributors, property developers, and key retail partners.
  • Customer Engagement & Quotation Management – Serve as the primary contact for customer accounts, managing sales cycles from lead generation through to proposal, quotation, negotiation, and close. Prepare and manage quotes with attention to margins, cost structures, and program requirements.
  • Project Management Support – Oversee and support product installations and implementations at multifamily properties and commercial projects. Coordinate across internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and installation support.
  • Product & Technical Expertise – Provide deep product knowledge and support on commercial hardware codes, ADA compliance, fire / life safety regulations, and smart access integrations. Train partners and customers on new product solutions, especially AccessIQ smart access platforms.
  • Market Intelligence & Relationship Management – Develop strong relationships with key market stakeholders including property management firms, developers, integrators, and distributor networks. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs.

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and no less than five years of progressive experience in commercial hardware and / or multifamily access control sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong commercial hardware knowledge, multifamily market expertise, and the ability to manage complex customer accounts, including retail partners, distribution networks, developers, property managers, and contractors.
  • Proven solid experience with national and regional retail and distribution players in the commercial / multifamily hardware space.
  • Deep understanding of commercial hardware codes and specifications (ANSI / BHMA, ADA, fire code, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of smart access solutions and IoT-based security platforms for multifamily properties.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to prepare and manage pricing quotations and margin analyses.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with a solid win-win attitude.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally to engage with customers, attend trade shows, and support projects.
