THE POSITION
The Master Delivery System (MDS) is the application used to regulate and monitor the flow of vehicles accessing FIFA World Cup 2026™ venues. The person in this role will support the Senior Manager, Distribution in overseeing the MDS operations and coordinating the MDS team.
The MDS Manager, Distribution will be a key member of the FIFA26 Logistics team, and work in close collaboration with FIFA Zurich key stakeholders and other key individuals. This position is responsible for the day-to-day execution of MDS operations across all the Tournament footprint to ensure seamless and cost-effective transportation, timely delivery, and high service standards within venues including stadiums, airports, team base camp training sites and team base camp hotels.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the MDS Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include :
- Support the Senior Manager, Distribution in the management of the MDS platform and the MDS Users.
- Assist MDS application provider in communicating changes to the MDS that must be made; make additional changes to the site as you see fit.
- Work directly with the Senior Manager, Distribution to identify the MDS schedules of all Functional Areas, departments and external stakeholders during all phases of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
- Act as the face of the MDS for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with external stakeholders, especially the likes of Stadium and Convention Centers operational staff, to guarantee that their operations are fully managed via the FIFA MDS and are feasible given the various constraints on site.
- Work with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a load-in / load-out strategy is feasible and can be managed on the MDS.
- Develop and update training sessions for new project controllers joining the MDS User Community.
- Give weekly and requested training to the MDS User Community and act as the primary liaison to answer all MDS User specific training inquiries.
- Must present and maintain premium customer service skills.
- Develop additional templates and edit already created templates in line with MDS requirements.
- Develop daily, weekly, and cumulative reporting to be approved by the Senior Manager, Distribution.
- Provide insight to the Senior Manager, Distribution and to the MDS vendor to enhance the efficiency of the MDS platform.
- Actively anticipate and evaluate problems, develop solutions and resolve conflicts between various parties utilizing the system.
- Assist and liaise with the other Logistics workstream Senior Managers (i.e. Customs & Freight Forwarding, Material Planning, Warehousing, Venue Logistics & Central Logistics) with their requirements to support an efficient and economical end-to-end Logistics operation.
- Continually improve FIFA MDS processes, policies and procedures.
- Assist the Senior Manager, Distribution in the Function and Department deliverables.
- Remain in constant communication with Venue Logistics team to ensure the needs of the venue and functional areas are being met in a timely manner Ensure compliance with FIFA's safety protocols and local transportation regulations.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address and resolve any logistical issues impacting distribution operations.
- Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all team members, including compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Participate in outreach programs, as required, intended to educate stakeholders on tournament time operations.
- Act as first point of contact for Logistics if travelling or based in alternative location.

Education & Qualifications
Batchelor's Degree or similar level of education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, etc.Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field in logistics, distribution, or transportation management, with a proven track record of operational success in large-scale events or similar environments with a solid understanding of Can-Mex-U.S. transportation regulations and best practices in distribution logistics.Team player with a strong customer-service focus, comfortable across all levels of communication and a desire to go the extra mile.Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public / private settings as required.Proven track record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, and prioritization of tasks and deliverables.Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.Excellent analytical skills, ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environmentLanguages
