In just 18 to 24 months, you will acquire the knowledge required to champion our products and services in a new or existing operating location.

A willingness to relocate is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain a deep understanding of the wholesale distribution industry.
  • Acquire practical experience in sales, business development, customer service, and operations through hands-on training and projects.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the market.
  • Effectively promote and advocate for American Metals Supply's products and services.
  • Develop leadership and management skills to prepare for future roles within the organization.

Requirements

Required Qualifications :

  • Reside near St. Louis or Fenton, Missouri; Springfield, IL; or Indianapolis, IN, or be willing to relocate to one of these locations for the duration of the training program.
  • Willingness to relocate to other operating locations as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field. Applicants with degrees in progress will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, sometimes in environments exposed to natural elements.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience within the HVAC industry.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of Epicor Eclipse Software.
