Must-Have : Triage experience, TNCC, ACLS

Description :

The candidate will be responsible for the care of pediatric patients in an emergency setting.

Common diagnoses include asthma, DKA, neonate with fever, and sickle cell disease.

The nurse will perform special procedures such as moderate sedation, breathing treatments, and chest tube set-up and care.

Candidates will also administer medications and blood products, interpret 12 lead EKGs, and manage rapid transfusions.

The nurse will work with various medical equipment, including drains, triple lumen catheters, PICC lines, PCA pumps, and feeding tubes.

Critical care experience is preferred in areas such as burns, cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical, and trauma.

The nurse will adhere to the dress code of scrubs and maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 4.

Flexibility to work weekends and rotating holidays is required.
