RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
• OR experience required, specifically seeking OR Circulator
• Every other weekend call required (2 weekends per month)
• Rotating call during the week
• Full-time position
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• RN License in Texas or compact state required
• Provide routine and complex surgical care with ability to focus on long-range goals
• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant clinical aspects
• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
• Monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
