Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct WIC certifications, obtain anthropometric measurements, and perform hemoglobin testing.
• Complete nutrition assessments, identify nutritional risk factors, and document in the WIC system.
• Provide one-on-one and group nutrition education to pregnant women, postpartum mothers, infants, and children.
• Issue and explain WIC food benefits to eligible participants.
• Support and promote breastfeeding through education and hands-on assistance.
• Assist with latch support, positioning guidance, pump education, and breastfeeding troubleshooting.
• Refer clients to breastfeeding peer helpers, lactation consultants, or additional health resources as needed.
• Facilitate breastfeeding classes, infant feeding education, and outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal program requirements.
