Job description1+ years of primary care or nursing home experience mandatoryMust love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations State licensure and board certification is required Offering an ideal mix of urban and suburban living, Fairfax and Alexandria are located minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. and three major airports. Fairfax was recently named one of the Healthiest Communities in America by US News, emphasizing the communitys access to care and prevalence of healthy behaviors. The Washington metropolitan area is home to numerous government institutions and cultural attractions, including festivals, museums, theaters, year-round markets, outdoor recreation, and five professional sports teams. Outside the immediate metro area, residents can take advantage of hiking, camping and boating opportunities in Shenandoah National Park, Great Falls State Park and other outdoor spaces. The community is situated in close proximity to several highly regarded institutions including American, Georgetown, George Washington, and Howard Universities, as well as a plethora of public and private grade schools.
We are currently seeking a part-time nurse practitioner to join our private practice and provide quality care to patients at our affiliated nursing home in Fairfax, Virginia
- We are a very well respected 25 year old practice with 3 locations in northern VA with 10 physicians.
- The incoming provider will manage patients in the short-term rehab and long-term care facilities, with the option to rotate through our primary care office if inclined
- Flexible part-time schedule (Friday is mandatory, but otherwise flexible)
