The BNSF | Tech Division drives innovation and efficiency by developing and maintaining advanced technological solutions across the network. This team ensures a robust IT infrastructure, supports critical applications, and enhances cybersecurity measures. Their expertise is essential in optimizing operations and enabling BNSF to deliver reliable, cutting-edge transportation services.
This is a full-time position in Galesburg, IL. Travel is approximately 60% - 75%.
Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, or related discipline AND / OR equivalent formal training / work experience.
Candidate should be self-directed, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates should have the ability to communicate well, one-on-one and in groups.
Candidates should be safety-conscious and able to support and contribute to a strong safety process.
Preferred Qualifications
6 years work experience in a telecommunications, technical, and / or operations environment.
Prior experience and knowledge in the complexity of BNSF's Telecommunication Infrastructure.
