About the Role

As an Ambulatory Nurse , you will utilize a systematic approach to nursing, incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You’ll provide healthcare within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate competent healthcare for patients and families.
• Review and execute physician’s orders with professionalism and knowledge.
• Dispense sample drugs according to policy, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Provide health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Assist with procedures while observing standard precautions.
• Conduct telephone triage for patients of all ages.
• Notify patients of test results and manage medication refills.
• Schedule tests through ancillary departments for patients.

Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $27.25 - $45.51 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience and qualifications.
