This charismatic, guest-focused leader ensures all guests feel welcome, recognized, and supported throughout their visit. The Director of Golf manages all golf operations for the location and drives success across lessons, leagues, memberships, and simulator usage, ensuring an exceptional and engaging experience for all skill levels. This franchised location of Five Iron Golf is redefining the indoor golf and entertainment experience by blending cutting-edge simulator technology with a high-energy, inclusive social atmosphere. With premium food and beverage offerings and community-driven programming, we provide unforgettable experiences for golfers and non-golfers alike. Operated by Sunshine Coral Gables, LLC Key Responsibilities - Hire, train, and manage morning and afternoon golf staff. - Set and uphold above-and-beyond service standards for all golf team members. - Manage golf P&L and achieve quarterly revenue goals across instruction, leagues, memberships, and retail. - Oversee golf coaches’ availability and performance to meet location lesson and fitting goals. - Actively engage guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. - Ensure simulator quality and functionality; manage golf technology calibration and troubleshooting. - Maintain organized bag storage and accurate inventory of golf equipment and demo clubs. - Foster relationships within the community and membership base; lead events and outreach efforts. - Provide excellent service throughout the membership lifecycle—from onboarding through termination. - Stay informed and able to sell all offerings : technology, lessons, leagues, F&B, and promotions. - Collaborate with food and beverage team to support premium guest service when needed. - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. - Verify guests’ legal drinking age and ensure safe and responsible service practices. Required Qualifications - Passion for the game of golf and experience in golf environments. - 5+ years of experience in hospitality, hotel, golf course / club, or sports management roles. - Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead by example. - Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. - Social and interpersonal ability to build meaningful guest relationships. - Familiarity with launch monitor and swing analysis technology preferred. - High energy, team-oriented, and solution-driven mindset. - Comfortable managing fast-paced environments with evolving needs. - Availability during peak hours, evenings, and weekends. - Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and use stairs for extended periods.
