As VP of Influencer , you will be the architect of Dropout’s influencer strategy across our brands (starting with Jams, then Bronco). You’ll build and lead a team (and processes) that activate meaningful influencer, creator, and ambassador relationships to amplify brand storytelling, drive growth, and deepen connection with core audiences. You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing, content, creative, and product — shaping how we show up across platforms and communities.
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a holistic influencer + creator marketing playbook, integrating with brand campaigns, performance marketing, retail activations, experiential, and content ecosystems. You’ll lead with an eye for authenticity, scale, ROI, and innovation — pushing boundaries without compromising brand integrity.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Lead strategy, execution, and optimization of all influencer, creator, and ambassador programs across Dropout brands
- Define frameworks, budgets, and measurement models (KPIs, ROI, attribution) for influencer investment
- Identify, recruit, negotiate, and manage partnerships with influencers, creators, macro, micro, and nano talent
- Build scalable systems, agency / freelancer relationships, and infrastructure to support recurring influencer campaigns
- Oversee contracts, compensation models, usage rights, content guidelines, and legal compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, creative, content, social, performance, and product teams to ensure influencer activity aligns and amplifies brand campaigns
- Drive alignment between organic / cultural influencer efforts and performance / paid social
- Oversee content quality control, campaign approval process, and creative alignment
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team (or team structure) dedicated to influencer / creator work
- Monitor trends, platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, emerging apps), creator economy shifts, and adjust strategy accordingly
- Forecast budgets, manage P&L for influencer programs
- Report to leadership on program performance, insights, pipeline, and strategic opportunities

Requirements
Essential :
8+ years of experience in influencer, creator, or partnership marketing (agency or in-house), ideally in consumer brands (CPG, fashion, wellness, lifestyle)Proven track record of building and scaling influencer / creator programs with measurable ROIDeep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, emerging platforms, creator economy dynamicsExperience negotiating contracts, usage rights, licensing, and influencer budgetsStrong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilitiesExcellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skillsData-driven mindset : comfortable with metrics, KPIs, measurement, and continuing optimizationsLeadership ability : managing teams, processes, agencies, and external partnersComfort working in fast-paced, evolving environmentsPreferred / Nice to Have :
