Job Description

GHD has a great opportunity for a Mid-Level Civil or Environmental Engineer in a Project Environmental Engineering Design and Project Management role, with a specialization in contaminated sites to support our US Central – Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation South Team! We specialize in environmental assessments, risk assessments, risk management planning and remedial design across the US Central South Region.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic pursuits focused on federal sector and private industrial clients.
• Work on a wide variety of environmental remediation projects including permeable reactive barriers, slurry walls, liner / cap / cover, stabilization / solidification, excavation, and more.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary project teams, providing environmental advice to other GHD teams.
• Collaborate on technical solutions / designs with multiple disciplines including hydrology, geotechnical, environmental, ecological, estimating, permitting, constructability, and more.
• Remain current on standard methodologies for innovative remediation approaches.
• Manage design projects including budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, specifications, and proposals.
• Support and mentor junior team members in a learning and collaborative atmosphere.
• Manage subcontractors and fieldwork.
