Cyber Security Engineer with Secret Clearance

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard applications by embedding cybersecurity throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and validate security controls within the system architecture

Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies

Collaborate with developers to enforce secure coding standards and automate security testing

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred

5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, preferably in defense, healthcare, or mission-critical IT

Deep knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DISA STIGs

Proficiency with security tools and experience with container and cloud security

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance required; TS / SCI preferred
