Ohio Certified Family Peer Specialist

A company is looking for a Certified Family Peer Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Utilizes personal experience to assist and support youth and families

Coordinates treatment and service assessments for clients in various settings

Advocates for clients to secure necessary services and resources

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Must be a parent / guardian of a child who has received mental health services

Obtain Ohio Parent Peer Support Certification within 120 days of hire

Must be at least 23 years old with a valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record

CPR / First Aid and NCI / CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment

Must demonstrate basic competencies for Parent Peer Support services within 90 days of hire
