University of Pittsburgh Physicians is seeking a Neonatologist toserve as an Associate Clinical Director, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit UPMCHamot in Erie, PA. Thisposition will report to the Director, Division of Newborn Medicine for theUniversity of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Clinical Director, NeonatalIntensive Care Unit, UPMC Hamot. The Neonatologist must have an MD orequivalent, be board certified or board eligible with the ability to obtain anunrestricted PA license. H1B visasponsorship available.

• 17 weeks of service at UPMC Hamot NICU
• Equitable share of weekend and weeknightattending coverage
• Commitment to administration and leadership ofclinical programs
• Assist Clinical Director with providingadministrative oversight of the entire breadth of clinical activities in theNICU
• Assist Clinical Director with developing andreviewing all NICU policies, procedures, and equipment / facility needs
• Assist Clinical Director with providingadministrative oversight of the medical residents, neonatal nurse practitioner,neonatal physician assistant, student nurse and allied health professionaltraining programs affiliated with the NICU
• Represents the NICU on hospital committees asrequested
• Serves as a liaison between the NICU, thepediatric medical staff and outside agencies (including JCAHO and StateDepartment of Health)
