Travel Nurse Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1760–$1890

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : December 8, 2025 – End : March 9, 2026)

Nursing Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts / week (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), 36 hours / week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Must be available to work 12 / 24 and 12 / 31

Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery (float to Antepartum, NICU, Postpartum / Nursery as needed)

Patient Population : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults

Charting System : Epic (recent experience required)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery)

Active RN license (Compact or Tennessee RN license)

BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required

Epic charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on profile)

Travel nursing experience preferred

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered for COVID-19 only)

Ability to float to related units (Antepartum, NICU, Nursery) as needed

Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns

Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery

Assist with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and newborn resuscitation

Administer medications, IVs, and manage epidurals and other interventions

Educate and support patients and families on postpartum and newborn care, including breastfeeding and discharge teaching

Document all care and interventions accurately in the Epic electronic health record system

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff

Float to Antepartum, NICU, or Nursery units as required
