• Description

Provides hands-on expertise with Integration and data ingestion systems, Process / data flow orchestration implementation. This is accomplished by working with other ITIL Service Operations process owners, Configuration Item data owners and stakeholders to implement and manage best practices, process, standard and policy. Has advanced understanding of ITIL CMDB Management, ServiceNow Discovery, and related processes as well as methodologies and techniques needed to guide an organization to successfully attain key benefits and overarching goals of IT.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and troubleshoot related issues (e.g., ECC Queue, script failures).
• Align CMDB and Discovery outputs with ITIL standards and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Develop and maintain Discovery audit processes to identify and fix data gaps or misclassified Configuration Items (CIs).
• Support CMDB remediation using ServiceNow tools like CMDB Health, de-duplication, and IRE.
• Deliver architecture documentation including process designs, workflows, and system integration details

Top Skills :

• ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery : Advanced knowledge of configuration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• ITIL & CSDM Alignment : Experience implementing ITIL processes and aligning CMDB with CSDM.
• Process Design & Integration : Strong background in workflow development and process mapping.
• Scripting & Automation : Skilled in JavaScript for ServiceNow Discovery and custom probes / patterns.
• Communication & Collaboration : Effective at working with stakeholders and documenting technical processes.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience : 10+ years in IT, including 4+ years with CMDB, ITSM, and ServiceNow Discovery.
• Certifications : ITIL Foundations V3 / V4 preferred.
• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $63.00 / hr.
