Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a fast-paced, hands-on pharmacist role in a dynamic pharmacy setting that combines retail, long-term care, and non-sterile compounding. This position is a 13+ week contract-to-hire opportunity , ideal for a motivated pharmacist looking to relocate and become a long-term part of the team in Montana.
Position Overview :
As the sole pharmacist on duty, you will manage a high-volume workflow (3001000 prescriptions / day) while performing a variety of tasks across retail and LTC services. You will be actively involved in patient care, prescription verification, and pharmacy operations, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
Prepare and pack non-sterile medications as needed
Administer vaccines and assist with retail services including drive-thru and register support
Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure proper workflow
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and store policies
Schedule :
Monday Friday, 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm
Requirements :
Active and clear Montana Pharmacist license (pending licenses considered, costs not covered)
BLS certification
Immunization certification
Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience (strong new graduates welcome)
Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Experience with Liberty software (training provided if needed)
Flexible, hard-working, and proactive mindset
