Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time physical therapist is sought to support middle and high school students in an educational setting located in Tijeras, NM. This contract position aligns with the current school year calendar and offers flexibility with onsite work preferred and virtual options considered.

Responsibilities include :

  • Providing physical therapy services to students in both middle and high school caseloads
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed to support educational goals
  • Maintaining documentation and compliance with school and state regulations

Desired qualifications and experience :

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in school-based practice
  • Familiarity and comfort working with pediatric populations in educational environments
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and school personnel
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently

    Schedule : Part-time, contract aligned with the school year (CSY)
