Job Description : The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. This role understands and utilizes the philosophy of Genzyme Central Laboratory in aligning processes to support the clinical goals of the business. The PSR II works with a mostly outpatient population, in an in-patient blood collection center in a hospital environment. PSR II will successfully complete a clinical procedure training program to delineate PSR II from a typical phlebotomist. The PSR II will be cross-trained in venipuncture and skin puncture in appropriate populations. The PSR II works to maximize patient satisfaction, providing flexibility to meet patient needs.
