Sourcebooks 'Bespoke Publishing Operations team is seeking a detail-driven, collaborative Associate Managing Editor for a 6-month contract role . This temporary position will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth flow of managing editorial and production editorial processes, ensuring bespoke titles move efficiently from turnover to final production.

In this role, you’ll help run and track book production schedules, manage title lists, and partner with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and meet deadlines. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to uphold Sourcebooks' standards of excellence while supporting ongoing workflow improvements.

This is a contract position (6 months) with a pay rate of $30 / hour and a maximum of 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Do :

• Manage day-to-day editorial and production workflows for bespoke titles.
• Track and maintain schedules to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
• Support documentation, training, and process improvements within the team.
• Collaborate across editorial, design, and production to anticipate bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Help coordinate reprints, special editions, and other bespoke projects.
