Job Title : Psychologist Supervisor

Description :

Supervises Psychology Assistant positions.

Conducts performance evaluations, scheduling, timekeeping, training, and disciplinary actions.

Evaluates, authorizes, and ensures plans, programs, treatments, therapies, and testing comply with professional and regulatory standards.

Develops and implements treatment programs based on diagnosis, interactions, interviews, and data analysis.

Conducts counseling sessions, both individual and group.

Serves as chairperson of the Human Rights Committee and reviews requests for restrictive measures.

Ensures that measures are appropriate and implemented in a humane manner.

Conducts routine psychological evaluations and reports results to the interdisciplinary team.

Writes portions of Individual Service Plans, including personal growth strategies and psychological history.

Assesses individuals for suicide precautions and determines when such precautions can end.

Participates in psychiatric drug review and provides input during team meetings.

Evaluates individuals for competency and provides results to appropriate parties.

Provides subject matter expert testimony as needed.

Trains staff during new hire orientation and annual training.

Oversees the work of psychology interns and provides feedback.

Attends conferences and training to maintain professional licensing.

Provides input for facility and departmental policies dealing with psychological and behavioral issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.
