As a Screener with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting x-ray screenings, and verifying credentials to help to deter security-related incidents. You will perform routine patrols within the facility, remaining highly visible to support a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Screen individuals, vehicles, and / or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents according to site procedures.Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and / or delivery personnel as required for screening and access control.Assist with implementing access control measures and monitoring for adherence to site-specific guidelines.What We're Looking For :

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
