As a Security Professional - Distribution Center - Part Time in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting x-ray screenings, and verifying credentials to help to deter security-related incidents. You will perform routine patrols within the facility, remaining highly visible to support a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $16.87 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PMSun08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, vehicles, and / or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents according to site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and / or delivery personnel as required for screening and access control.
  • Assist with implementing access control measures and monitoring for adherence to site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
