Job Title : Temp-to-Hire Bookkeeper

Location : Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (100% Onsite)

Pay Rate : $20–$26 / hour (based on experience)

Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team in Ponte Vedra Beach. This is a 100% onsite position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in day-to-day accounting functions and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities :

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Perform bank and account reconciliations

Process payroll or assist with payroll-related tasks

Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end close

Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Support external audits and tax preparation

Handle vendor communications and resolve discrepancies

Maintain organized records and documentation

Qualifications :

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP preferred)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small office environment

Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Pay Details : $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
