  • Analyzes and document discrepancies on packaging slips
  • Analyzes laminate and check size, color, finish, and quantity after putting in the bin
  • Cleans off skids of banding and other materials after placing in the bin
  • Reviews packets, release packets, and print labels
  • Pulls laminate from bins, place on cart, and initial the packet
  • Ensures there is bigger material when laminate is being backordered to fill the order
  • Documents when there is inventory substitutions or adjustments into IFS
  • Reports all discrepancies to Laminate Lead
  • Ensures laminate cart is stacked evenly and flush to one corner
  • Examines bins for broken and warped laminate
  • Checks all critical tops for inaccuracies
  • Attends morning meeting and communicate any issues, concerns, and near misses
  • Participates in daily morning meetings
  • Wears PPE glasses, ear plugs, and gloves
  • Reviews inventory monthly to ensure there are no foreseeable errors
  • Dumps all trash cans in dumpster
  • Sweeps and cleans up area
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to work individually or with team members as assigned, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Excellent attendance work habit needed.
  • Able to maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules.
  • Able to work 5 to 6 days a week and over 10 hours a day as required.
  • Able to pass a Pre-employment / Post-offer drug screen and physical and background check. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Computer skills.
  • All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries.
