Overview

Europastry, a family-owned business founded in Barcelona in 1987, is a global leader in the bakery industry with locations around the world. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Supervisor – Maintenance Shop to join our team!

Position : Supervisor – Maintenance Shop

Location : New Brunswick, NJ

Department : Maintenance

Responsibilities

Supervise and assign tasks to Tool Crib Attendants
Create and manage work orders and inventory records
Optimize layout of inventory and tooling stockrooms
Oversee daily maintenance materials and parts in MP2
Ensure proper labeling of maintenance and HAZMAT items
Conduct inventory cycle counts and audits
Train team members on tool crib procedures
Collaborate with Maintenance Management and other departments
Evaluate and recommend tools for repair, replacement, or procurement
Maintain accurate records of tooling and inventory systems

Supervisory Duties

Lead a team of 3–5 employees

Interview, hire, train, and evaluate team members

Address performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with company policies

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred

3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing a plus)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred

Familiarity with GMP, OSHA, and SQF standards
