Position Summary
The Corporate Services group withing Engineering Solutions at TCW is looking for a Salesforce Software Engineer. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and enhancing the Salesforce platform. The successful candidate should be experienced in various technologies such as Lightning Web Components (LWC) Framework, Apex, and JavaScript. The candidate is required to wear multiple hats in addition to Salesforce Engineer such as Salesforce Admin / Analyst.
This technical role requires direct interaction with business users to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure that the solutions meet the business needs effectively. The candidate will also be interacting with Senior Leadership at the firm and expected to have excellent communication / presentation skills.
The role demands a very strong technical foundation, analytical thinking, and the ability to build solutions that enhance user experience and business operations. The candidate should be adept at Salesforce stack and should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position is based out of our modern office in Los Angeles, providing a dynamic work environment and convenient access for commuting professionals.
Essential Duties
Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Salesforce applications
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into working prototypes.
- Design, develop and implement customized Salesforce solutions leveraging Apex, Lighting Web Components and SOQL
- Perform unit testing and achieve maximum code coverage to ensure quality and accuracy
- Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
- Perform hands-on configuration of all new and existing functionality including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflow, flows, process builders, reports and dashboards and customized applications
- Partner with team members across various technology groups to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with existing systems hosted on SQL Server / Snowflake
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplinesAt least 3 years of knowledge and skills within Salesforce (Management, Administration, Development)Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, and custom viewsReport Development, and / or Relational Database Experience (MSSQL)Proficiency in JavaScript, Apex, Lightning Web Components and SOQLExperience with data migration tools such as Data Loader, DBAmp, or other ETL toolsExperience working with third party tools, managed packages on the app exchangeProfessional Skills Qualifications

Experience in the financial industry, preferably in investment managementSalesforce Certifications (Administrator, Advance Administrator, Developer, Cloud, etc.)Experience with BI tools such as CRM Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.Experience in cloud environments, particularly Azure Data Factory (ADF), DBT, Snowflake etc.Knowledge of Salesforce Data CloudEstimated Compensation :
Base Salary : For CA based position, the base salary range is $155K - $175K. This is an anticipated range only.
Other Compensation : Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus

This role requires candidates to work from a TCW office a minimum of four days a week. Flexibility for remote work is offered on one day, depending on business needs.
