Job descriptionAssists in developing and implementing procedures and protocols to facilitate the delivery of comprehensive health services and quality assurance. Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, counseling / education and treatment for a specified population adhering to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times. Provide clinical supervision and education to Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, and assistants. Supports an environment of exchange and recommends improvements in all clinical areas. In general, drives areas to improve patient information exchange, overall patient satisfaction, experience and / or other operational areas to meet or exceed all measures. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree. Must hold an active unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state at hire. Must be Board certified in Pediatrics or Medicine-Pediatrics. At least 2-3 years clinical experience practicing medicine. Any additional experience working for a urgent care / outpatient clinical setting is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills are needed.
