Location : Remote, USA

Salary $100-115,000 based on experience

Eastern & Central time zones preferred.

In an Account Manager we look for someone who

Is energized by numbers, curious by nature, and motivated to build something better? Stonegrove is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to support multiple of our partner roofing locations. This is more than a behind-the-scenes role youll be a strategic partner to local site leaders and a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Youll report directly to our Corporate Controller and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting under US GAAP, supporting local teams, and optimizing processes across our growing portfolio of roofing companies.

What Youll Do As Accounting Manager

• Be the go-to accounting resource for multiple roofing locations, providing daily support and financial guidance to site leaders.
• Review bank activity and lead weekly cash forecast preparation.
• Supervise and coach on-site bookkeepers (12 per location) and manage month-end close.
• Analyze and prepare complex calculations, including commissions and WIP.
• Own general ledger reviews and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Communicate financial insights to operations leadership and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with auditors on key schedules, including acquisition-related accounting and opening balance sheets.
• Support onboarding of new locations to Sage Intacct, Ramp, and payroll systems.
• Help refine and document accounting processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Expect to travel approximately once per month to support one of our roofing locations, with total annual travel estimated at less than 10%.

What You Bring As Accounting Manager

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 13 years in a progressively responsible role
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct is a plus)
• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
• Excellent communicator who can translate financial concepts for non-finance teammates
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and excited to roll up your sleeves
• Multi-site and home services or construction experience is a plus
• Comfortable navigating change and managing multiple priorities
