Maintenance Groundskeeper

Under the supervision of the Community Manager and / or Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property.

Responsibilities

• Assists with move-ins, move-outs, annual inspections, and preparing vacant units for re-occupancy
• Performs light maintenance : electrical, plumbing, painting, and minor repairs (e.g., glass, tile, locks)
• Maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Cleans common areas including laundry rooms, restrooms, offices, and hallways
• Maintains outdoor areas : picks up ground debris daily, sweeps sidewalks and parking lots, trims shrubs, and removes weeds
• Monitors and reports grounds conditions, completes routine groundskeeping logs, and ensures exterior areas are safe and presentable
• Participates in emergency standby schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Complies with safety policies and performs other duties as assigned
