An established outpatient cancer clinic in Minot, ND is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage with the opportunity for ongoing monthly assignments. This is a well-supported practice with predictable weekday hours and no required call. Competitive, guaranteed pay
Initial Dates:
March 30 – April 3
April 27 – May 1
Ongoing: One week per month after initial coverage
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Call: Not required (optional weekend availability welcomed)
Setting: Outpatient only
Daily Volume: ~16 clinic patients, ~30 infusion patients
Case Mix: 50% Oncology / 50% Hematology
Support Staff:
1 full-time Med/Hem Oncologist
1 full-time Med/Hem Nurse Practitioner
2 full-time Radiation Oncologists
EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic/Beacon in October 2026)
Telehealth: Not available
Travel and lodging fully covered
Long-term and ongoing locum coverage welcomed
Board Certified in both Hematology & Oncology
Active North Dakota license with easily transferable DEA
IMLC candidates considered
