Summary : Assist homeless across the region access the centralized CoC regional list to obtain housing opportunities Work with the most vulnerable in the region to navigate resources, providers and housing. Work closely with shelter providers and frontline staff to give knowledge and understanding of the coordinated entry system.

Organizational Relationship : Directly reports to Director of Program Operations

Physical Requirement : Ability to drive. Ability to ascend / descend stairs. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Working Conditions : Travel within Massachusetts required. As part of the responsibilities of this position, the COC Housing Navigator will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. A successful background check is required.

Remote Work Option : Remote work is permissible in some positions at SMOC depending on the key functions and responsibilities. The CoC Navigator position is eligible to work from home 20% of the week in scheduling coordination with the department manager.
