Perform initial nursing evaluation including behavioral health / psychiatric needs assessment. Observe and evaluate patients physical and mental status for complications and medication side effects. Maintain awareness for behavioral indicators that require changes in treatment modality. Instruct patient and caregiver on medication regimens, disease processes, safety interventions, ADL care, symptom management, and coping skills. Administer IM medications, perform lab draws and specimen collections. Act as case manager in coordinating care for assigned patients. Complete documentation timely and accurately. Supervise LPNs and HHAs. Communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, psychiatrist, and care team. Current RN license to the state(s) of assignment. Meet CMS psychiatric nursing requirements : RN with a masters in mental health nursing or psychiatric specialty includes experience in an acute psychiatric unit. RN with a bachelors degree requires one year of recent experience in an acute psychiatric unit. RN with a diploma or associates degree requires two years of recent experience in an acute psychiatric unit. Experience within the last three to five years; if not, documentation must support psychiatric retraining or CEUs. Current CPR certification. Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.

- Current RN license in the assigned state(s).
- Eligible to provide psychiatric nursing in a home care setting per CMS requirements.
- Two years of recent nursing experience in an acute treatment unit or psychiatric setting.
- Valid CPR certification and a reliable drivers license with liability insurance.
Pay & Benefits
Full Time Day Shifts One to One patient ratio Work Life Balance
Salary : $75,000 $90,000 annually.
