Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Patient Population : Pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Unit Size : 25 beds

Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 2

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2000-$2140

PACU RN Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or acute care RN experience

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system

Ability to float within skillset as needed

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver post-anesthesia care to surgical patients, including cardiac and neuro cases

Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgery (excluding transplant cases)

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner

Assist with special procedures and support the PACU unit as needed

Work every other weekend and adapt to evening shift schedule
